Mocking up the hard tail.
I had the tight radius bent by a shop, but I did the rest of the bending using hand & leg power.
I used the swing arm axle to line up my new axle plate.
Grinding and polishing the frame.
The raw steel frame was powder coated clear by Color FX in NE Portland.
I wrapped 35 different strings and welded them on the back side of the exhaust pipe.
I built the wheels after I polished the spokes. That was the first and last time I lace spokes.
I bought my fenders from Cooper Smithing in Washington State and cut few inches out of the middle and welded them back together.
I welded the pill shaped tank to hold the battery and electronics.
I used wet sandpaper and then metal polishing compound on the tank.
